Our goal is to enliven, enrich, and prepare the Army and those interested in military affairs for the conflicts and wars to come. We also serve to connect a growing community of interest of military planners.

Our writers include students, graduates, and instructors of the U.S. Army’s Advanced Military Studies Program, Advanced Strategic Leadership Studies Program, and Advanced Strategic Planning and Policy Program. Our short-form articles will provide thoughtful, useful, and diverse commentary on history, doctrine, theory, or practice of military operations at all levels of war from the tactical to the strategic.
